Instructional Aide - Pawtucket, RI

Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a Teacher’s Assistant / Behavior Aide in a vibrant school community near Pawtucket, RI. This full-time, contract position runs from ASAP through June 16, 2027, offering you the opportunity to make a daily impact in young learners’ lives. Your background in paraprofessional support or as a behavior specialist will help you guide students, reinforce positive behaviors, and contribute to individualized education plans. Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree, or successful completion of the Rhode Island Teaching Assistant exam
• Experience as a paraprofessional or a behavior specialist in a school setting preferred

• Ability to assist with classroom management, behavioral interventions, and academic support

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support to classroom teachers and students, focusing on both academic and behavioral objectives
• Assist in implementing behavior intervention plans and monitoring progress

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students requiring additional support
