Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within a school environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and other staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues
• Flexible, patient, and creative when providing instructional and behavioral support
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or special education preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher with instructional tasks, classroom management, and lesson implementation
• Support small groups or individual students with academic, behavioral, or physical needs
• Contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt activities as directed by educators
• Monitor student progress and report observations to the supervising teacher or relevant staff
• Help organize classroom materials, technology, and resources for daily instruction
• Encourage positive behavior and foster a safe, respectful learning environment
