Empower students and make a positive impact throughout the school day by stepping into a vital classroom support role. This full-time contract opportunity (32.5 hours per week) matches paraprofessionals and program assistants with a variety of student needs. Your dedication is key in environments that range from one-on-one roles to supporting specialized programs designed for lower, upper, and resource-level learners. You’ll collaborate closely with educators in substantially separate classrooms and behavior-focused programs, playing an essential part in fostering academic and social success.

Opportunities include:

• Working 1:1 with individual students who benefit from personalized support
• Assisting in substantially separate classrooms, focusing on specialized academic and behavioral instruction
• Guiding and encouraging students within lower and upper school academic programs
• Supporting the CHOICES program, designed for students with behavioral needs
• Contributing to the resource room environment, helping to bridge academic gaps for various learners

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support capacity
• Calm, patient demeanor and a proactive mindset
• Adaptability, with the ability to manage changing priorities and unique student needs

Responsibilities include:

• Providing individual and group support, following student plans and teacher direction
• Encouraging positive interaction and participation in learning activities
• Tracking and reporting student progress, behavior, and engagement
• Assisting with instructional materials and classroom organization
• Collaborating with teachers and specialists to promote student success
