Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a support role within schools strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability to different classroom settings, supporting a wide variety of learning needs
• Commitment to fostering inclusive and positive environments for all students
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or paraprofessional certification a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all school and district policies

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and individualized student support
• Work directly with students, one-on-one or in small groups, to reinforce learning concepts
• Support students with special educational needs, adapting to individualized learning plans
• Prepare instructional materials and help supervise classroom activities
• Monitor and encourage positive student behavior, both in and out of the classroom
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for students
