Classroom Assistant | Penn Valley, California

Make an immediate impact supporting students as a Paraprofessional on a contract basis. In this role, you'll work closely with classroom teachers and educational staff to provide essential assistance in both academic and behavioral support. Your dedication will help foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of all abilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is preferred
• Ability to assist with instruction and adapt to various learning needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable working one-on-one or in small groups with students
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine desire to help students succeed
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional support under the direction of classroom teachers
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations
• Assist students with classwork, organization, and social skills
• Promote a safe, respectful, and positive school environment
• Support students in navigating classroom routines and transitions
• Monitor student progress and report observations to certified staff
• Contribute to classroom management and behavior support as needed
