Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting as a paraprofessional is highly valued
• Capable of providing individualized attention and support to students
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, patient demeanor
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and staff
• Flexible and adaptable to diverse classroom settings and student needs

Responsibilities:

• Prepare instructional materials, worksheets, and classroom displays to enhance learning experiences
• Take attendance, assist with grading papers or tests, and accurately record student data
• Provide hands-on assistance with reading, writing, and math assignments
• Supervise students throughout the day—classroom, hallways, lunchroom, recess, and during field trips
• Encourage focus, minimize distractions, and help keep students engaged and on task
