Key Qualifications:
- Experience supporting students with behavioral needs
- Prior paraprofessional or classroom aide experience
- Active IVP Fingerprint Card required
- CPR and Crisis Prevention Training (or willingness to complete training through the district)
- Bilingual abilities highly valued
- Valid driver’s license preferred, as there may be occasional use of district vehicles
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated one-on-one and group support to high school students
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and special education staff to implement individualized behavior plans
- Assist with daily classroom activities, promoting a positive and inclusive environment
- Help manage behavioral interventions, supporting students’ academic and social development
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with school staff
- Engage in ongoing professional development as required
