Desired Experience & Credentials:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or instructional aide, with an emphasis on school-based settings
• Demonstrated skills in behavioral support and classroom management
• Flexible in working with students across K-12, adapting strategies to different age groups and learning styles
• Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and other school staff
• Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a patient, resourceful approach to helping students

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct academic and/or behavioral support to individual students or small groups under teacher supervision
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Document student progress and communicate important updates to the educational team
• Support students with a variety of needs, encouraging independence and engagement
