Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, PCA, or similar support role in a school setting
• Candidates with LNA or CNA credentials are also encouraged to apply
• Comfort with assisting students with personal care (toileting and physical positioning)
• Ability to foster a positive, encouraging environment for students with life skills needs
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Role Responsibilities:

• Work closely with one student in a life skills program, providing 1:1 academic and care support
• Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to implement personalized learning and care plans
• Assist with academic tasks, classroom activities, and daily skills development
• Manage freshening routines, including toileting assistance and student positioning as needed
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and daily activities
