Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working with children or in a classroom setting preferred
• Familiarity with providing academic, behavioral, or social support to students
• Ability to assist teachers with instructional activities and individualized student support
• Flexible, patient, and adaptable to varying classroom dynamics
• Excellent communication skills with staff, students, and families
• Collaborative approach to working in team settings

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students throughout the school day
• Support students with classroom activities, assignments, and transitions
• Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and adapting materials
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment
• Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral growth
• Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
