Instructional Assistant - Philadelphia, PA

This full-time contract position runs ASAP through June 12, 2026, and offers the opportunity to work directly with K-12 students, both individually and within classroom settings. You’ll be an essential part of an onsite team focused on meeting the unique needs of students, including those in special education and those who face behavioral challenges.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• High school diploma required.
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before starting).
• Previous school-based experience (K-12 caseload) is a must.
• Ability to secure and maintain all necessary Pennsylvania clearances.
• Experience supporting students with changing needs, behavioral management, and elopement issues.
• Comfortable providing 1:1 student service, including toileting and diapering.
• Reliable transportation and excellent references required.
• Comfortable working in urban school settings.
• Willingness to disclose full assignment details as requested.
• Availability to participate in a Zoom interview.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized educational and behavioral support to students onsite.
• Provide direct assistance with daily living tasks and mobility as needed.
• Monitor for elopement and implement safety protocols promptly.
• Work alongside teachers, therapists, and staff to execute student-specific plans.
• Flexibly adapt to each learner’s needs and communicate observations.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all student interactions.
