What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support environment
• Comfortable working with elementary and/or middle school students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative spirit—able to follow teacher direction and support classroom activities
• Dependability and reliability for a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week)
• Adaptability and patience within a fast-paced academic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students during classroom activities
• Assist lead teachers with lesson preparation, student supervision, and implementation of educational plans
• Support students with diverse learning needs, including reinforcing material and facilitating engagement
• Encourage student participation, help maintain a positive classroom environment, and redirect behaviors as needed
• Aid in classroom organization, materials management, and reinforcing routines
• Foster respectful and caring relationships with students, staff, and families
