Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience in a school setting is essential
• High school diploma required
• Must hold a current CPR certification (or be willing to obtain one; a link can be provided)
• Comfortable working with SPED and behaviorally challenged students, including those with elopement risks, kicking, or biting behaviors
• Ability to assist with toileting and diapering responsibilities as needed
• Open to both experienced Paraprofessionals and Behavior Technicians (BT)
• Reliable transportation is necessary
• Willingness to work in an urban setting
• Ability to secure all necessary Pennsylvania clearances
• Strong references required

Responsibilities:

• Engage in direct 1:1 student service to promote independence and academic growth
• Support students with behavioral challenges, providing guidance and assistance during difficult moments
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to create an inclusive, supportive atmosphere
• Flexibly adapt to varying caseloads and work schedules between 7:15AM and 4PM
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
