Teacher's Aide - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

These contract roles are based near Pittsburgh, PA—including Fox Chapel, Oakmont, Monroeville, Swissvale, and nearby communities. Positions are available immediately and run through June 5, 2026, with hours aligned to school schedules and campus needs.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional, especially within school settings
• Familiarity with autistic support or working with students with special needs preferred
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to support students’ daily routines
• Ability to assist students with toileting and personal care if required
• Positive, patient communicator with students and school staff
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support in K-1 or 3-5 autistic support classrooms
• Assist with classroom transitions and help maintain a smooth learning environment
• Offer coverage during lunch hours and support other paraprofessionals as needed
• Engage students in learning activities and promote their success and well-being
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate with teachers and school personnel for optimal student support
