Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting is highly valued
• Familiarity with supporting students with autism, especially in classroom environments
• Ability to provide respectful assistance with toileting and personal care
• Comfortable with classroom transitions and taking direction from teaching staff
• Dependable, compassionate, and flexible approach to changing needs
• Ready to begin as soon as possible and commit through June 5, 2026

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide supportive care for students, including direct support in autistic support classrooms
• Assist with classroom transitions, lunch duties, and supervision when needed
• Fill in for other paraprofessionals should the need arise
• Foster an inclusive and positive classroom environment
• Ensure students’ safety and well-being at all times
