One opportunity is a temporary position in an elementary school, working with grades K-2 from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm (through at least March). The second is a permanent role in a middle school life skills classroom for grades 6-8, from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. Both roles involve classroom support, either assisting teachers directly or working with students in specialized settings to foster learning and encourage achievement.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or 60 college credits required
• Previous experience in a classroom or school support role preferred
• Enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents
• Ability to collaborate with educators and communicate effectively
• Adaptability, patience, and strong organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in daily instructional activities
• Provide one-on-one or small group support in academic and life skills classrooms
• Encourage and foster positive student behaviors and engagement
• Support educational plans tailored to individual student needs
• Help supervise students during classroom and transition times
