Instructional Assistant - Pittsfield, Massachusetts

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Paraprofessional to support students at an elementary school near Pittsfield, MA. This full-time position is ideal for individuals passionate about fostering student development and well-being in a collaborative educational environment.

• Experience as a school paraprofessional or similar support role
• Familiarity with elementary-aged children and their developmental needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students in classroom settings, helping reinforce instructional material and facilitating learning activities
• Assist lead teachers with daily tasks and classroom management
• Support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs under the guidance of certified staff
• Offer individualized or small-group assistance to help meet IEP or educational plan goals
• Supervise students during activities and transitions throughout the school day
• Maintain clear and respectful communication with teachers, staff, and families

Assignment Details:

• Position starts as soon as possible and runs through late June (end of the school year)
• Full-time schedule, totaling 30 hours per week
