Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional, classroom assistant, or in a similar educational setting
• Understanding of basic classroom management techniques and strategies
• Ability to provide both academic and behavioral support to students
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient approach
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in education or child development preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in implementing instructional activities and lessons
• Support students individually and in small groups during classroom activities
• Encourage positive social interactions and help students build appropriate classroom behaviors
• Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and students to ensure a productive learning environment
• Contribute to a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive

Compensation for this position ranges from $20 to $24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
