What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous experience working in school settings—especially with elementary-age children—is valued
  • Familiarity or interest in supporting students with autism or intensive needs
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to effectively communicate with educators, students, and families
  • Dependability, patience, and flexibility in adapting to varied classroom activities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant training or credentials a plus

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct assistance to students within special education classrooms, following instructional plans designed by certified teachers
  • Facilitate social, emotional, and academic growth by employing supportive strategies for students with autism
  • Help maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Assist with transitions between activities and ensure students’ needs are met throughout the school day
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and fellow paraprofessionals for consistent student support

This contract opportunity encompasses approximately 32.5–35 hours per week, from September 2026 through June 2027, supporting elementary students in intensive programs. You’ll work in a dynamic, team-centered environment that values your input and dedication.
