Experience a rewarding opportunity supporting student success as a Paraprofessional Facilitator, working alongside Virtual Speech-Language Pathologists in schools near Port Orchard, WA. Positions are available immediately and extend through June 17, 2027, offering a long-term contract with consistent weekly schedules. Tailor your hours by working at one site or combine multiple assignments to achieve a full-time schedule.

Current openings include:

• South Kitsap High School: 0.8 FTE (4 days/week)
• East Port Orchard Elementary: 0.6 FTE (3 days/week)
• Orchard Heights Elementary: 1.0 FTE (5 days/week)
• Sunnyslope Elementary: 0.4 FTE (2 days/week)

This role provides the chance to foster meaningful connections with students, facilitate virtual services, and collaborate with educational teams.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous school-based or paraprofessional experience preferred
• Comfort and proficiency with technology to support virtual sessions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude toward supporting diverse learners
• Must already be fingerprinted through OSPI or willing to complete this process

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist and supervise students during virtual SLP sessions
• Facilitate communication between students and virtual speech-language pathologists
• Ensure a supportive and organized environment for both students and professionals
• Monitor student engagement and provide in-person encouragement
• Collaborate with staff to ensure students’ needs are met consistently
