This contract opportunity runs from September 2026 through June 2027, providing consistent hours (32.5 per week) throughout the school year. With both one-on-one and classroom support roles available, you’ll work alongside educators to empower students in an engaging and collaborative learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in schools is essential
- High school diploma required; no additional certifications or higher education needed
- Ability to provide support in both individual (1:1) and classroom group settings
- Capacity to build positive relationships with students, staff, and fellow paraprofessionals
- Must supply three completed references (including most recent manager) prior to interview consideration
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing educational and behavioral plans developed by teachers and specialists
- Support student engagement, safety, and participation under educator guidance
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere, helping students meet their academic, social, and emotional goals
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the educational team
- Enhance classroom organization, supporting instructional activities and transitions
- Collaborate professionally with staff across various classroom and school settings
