Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; no additional paraprofessional certification or higher education necessary
• Previous experience working in schools or with students is preferred
• Must be able to supply three completed professional references, one being your most recent manager, prior to interviewing
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
• Ability to collaborate closely with teachers and follow direction
• Commitment for the duration of the contract period

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students, both one-on-one and in classroom groups
• Help implement lesson plans developed by educational staff
• Aid students in social integration, organization, and task completion
• Follow teacher and school directives to maintain a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
• Monitor student progress and report concerns or developments to supervising staff
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
