Instructional Assistant - Pottstown, PA

This school district is seeking thirteen dedicated paraprofessionals to support students and educators for the 2026-2027 academic year. Full-time positions are available on a contract basis, beginning as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year. Key Qualifications:
• Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• High school diploma or GED (additional education or certifications in special education, child development, or related fields are a plus)
• Familiarity with IEPs and classroom accommodations preferred

Key Responsibilities:
• Support instructional activities under the guidance of certified teachers
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students
• Help create an engaging and supportive classroom atmosphere
• Assist with behavioral, social, and academic development
• Implement strategies outlined in students’ individualized plans
• Prepare, organize, and maintain classroom materials
• Monitor student progress and relay observations to educational staff
