Instructional Assistant - Pottstown, Pennsylvania

The assignment runs from August 25, 2025, to June 12, 2026, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Daily responsibilities take place at a specialized education setting focused on supporting student success and well-being.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Paraprofessional in a school-based environment.
• Familiarity and confidence working with children exhibiting moderate behaviors and developmental challenges.
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient, and consistent support.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, personalized instructional and behavioral support to one elementary student, following individualized education program (IEP) guidelines.
• Assist with academic tasks, encourage positive classroom engagement, and provide guidance tailored to the student’s individual strengths and needs.
• Support daily routines, transitions, and social skill development.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, therapists, and family members regarding student progress.
