Make a difference in the lives of students as a dedicated Behavior Support Provider, bringing your expertise as a Paraprofessional, Behavior Specialist, RBT, or ABA professional to K-12 settings. This contract opportunity near Putney, VT, offers a rewarding chance to be involved as the district embarks on an exciting rebuild of its behavior support program, with innovative pilot projects launching in the coming school year.

As part of a passionate team, you’ll work closely under the guidance of a newly appointed district BCBA, with the benefit of external BCBA supervision for RBTs. Contributing across four school buildings, you will provide essential 1:1 or small-group behavioral support, foster positive classroom engagement, and help set the foundation for lasting student success throughout the 2026-2027 academic year.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Current or prior experience as a Paraprofessional, RBT, or Behavior Specialist in a school or clinical environment
  • Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies and best practices such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Respectful, patient, and committed to supporting diverse learners in inclusive settings
  • Experience supporting K-12 population preferred, but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of behavior intervention plans for students with varying needs
  • Collect and record data to monitor student progress and inform ongoing interventions
  • Participate actively in staff development and collaborative team meetings
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all students
