This contract opportunity runs full-time from August 13, 2026, through August 21, 2027, and involves serving in a supportive, collaborative environment. Key Qualifications:

• Associate degree or a minimum of 48 completed semester hours required (transcripts or degree documentation must be provided)
• Experience working as a Paraprofessional, especially supporting students in school settings
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills for working with visually impaired students
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism within an educational environment
• Willingness to adapt to evolving student needs and collaborate with educators and other staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct one-on-one assistance to a visually impaired student throughout the school day
• Assist with lesson accessibility, mobility, and use of adaptive equipment as needed
• Encourage student independence while providing support for classroom participation and daily routines
• Communicate consistently with teachers and specialists to ensure comprehensive support
• Document progress and maintain records as directed by educational staff
• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere in alignment with school and district policies
