Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar school support role is highly valued
- Ability to follow directions from teachers and special education staff
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or higher preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with daily instructional activities and classroom management
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with varied learning needs
- Monitor student progress and support behavior plans as directed
- Help create a safe, nurturing learning atmosphere
- Participate in trainings, IEP meetings, and professional development as needed
