Instructional Aide in Rochester, NH

This contract opportunity runs from September 1, 2026, through June 16, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 32.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:10am to 2:10pm (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch).

You’ll play an essential part in creating a supportive learning environment, providing assistance to students and educators, and fostering growth in a collaborative school community.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a school environment is a must
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required; no additional paraprofessional certifications or higher education necessary
• Ability to provide three completed professional references upfront, including your most recent manager
• Strong commitment to supporting students’ learning and social development
• Flexible, adaptable, and eager to collaborate with teachers and other staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 support to students with varying needs as well as assisting within classroom settings
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to implement lesson plans and support daily activities
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all learners
• Aid in classroom management and help facilitate smooth transitions throughout the school day
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
