Instructional Aide - Rochester, NH

We're seeking multiple paraprofessionals for contract roles in the Greater Rochester, NH area, providing crucial assistance in both 1:1 and classroom group settings at middle and high school levels.

This position is ideal for those who have experience in educational environments, though no special paraprofessional certifications or college education are required—just a high school diploma and a willingness to make a difference. You’ll help create an inclusive atmosphere where every student can thrive, working closely alongside teachers and school staff from September through June.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma required (must provide proof)
• Prior experience working in schools or with children preferred, but not mandatory
• Ability to communicate clearly, patiently, and professionally with students and staff
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Three references, including your most recent manager or supervisor, completed before interviewing

What You’ll Do:

• Provide hands-on support to students in 1:1 and classroom roles
• Assist with classroom tasks, instructional activities, and behavior support
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote the best experience for students
• Help maintain a positive and productive learning environment
• Support students with various needs, fostering inclusion and engagement

Role Details:

• Contract runs from September 1, 2026, to June 16, 2027
• 32.5 hours/week with designated middle and high school schedules
