Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Prior experience working as a Paraprofessional or in a supportive role within schools
• Ability to work effectively and patiently with students requiring individualized attention
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and parents
• Adaptability and problem-solving abilities in a classroom or small group setting
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional related coursework or certifications are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 academic and behavioral support to a designated student throughout the school day
• Assist with classroom participation, assignments, and activities, ensuring an inclusive environment
• Foster positive relationships and encourage student independence and confidence
• Support implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations under teacher guidance
• Monitor, document, and communicate student progress to the educational team
• Help manage transitions and promote engagement in school routines

This role offers an hourly pay rate between $23 and $27. The initial contract period is three months, with potential extension based on performance and school needs.
