Position Overview
Soliant Education is seeking a qualified Paraprofessional for an onsite education industry position in the Roxbury, CT area for the 2026–2027 school year. We are currently hiring for two openings supporting students across K–12 settings, with opportunities for both 1:1 assistance and classroom-based support. This contract position offers approximately 33 hours per week at a pay rate of $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
The Paraprofessional will work alongside lead teachers and school supervisors to support the supervision, instruction, and daily educational needs of students receiving special education services. Responsibilities include assisting with learning activities and educational objectives outlined in students' PPTs and IEPs. The selected candidates may provide individualized or classroom assistance and may also be required to assist students with toileting and other personal care needs as appropriate.

Requirements
Candidates must hold a Paraprofessional Certification or have an associate degree, 60 college credits, or a higher level of education. Experience working with children or students with disabilities is preferred, particularly in a school or special education setting. Applicants should be comfortable collaborating with teachers and supervisors while providing consistent academic and behavioral support throughout the school day.

Schedule and Compensation
This is a full-time contract assignment for the 2026–2027 school year, averaging 33 hours per week. The hourly pay range is $20–$25 per hour, with placement based on relevant experience, education, and other applicable factors. The position is onsite in the Roxbury, CT area and includes openings supporting students across K–12.
