In this full-time, contract-based role near Sacramento, you'll become a key support for teachers and students, providing hands-on assistance in the classroom and during designated pull-out sessions. This placement runs through the end of the school year, aligning with either PreK or elementary school calendars.

Ideal Background:
- Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or ParaEducator is highly desirable
- Experience supporting younger students (“littles”) is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for diverse learners
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Flexibility and adaptability in a classroom setting
- Willingness to assist with small-group or one-on-one pull-out sessions in addition to overall classroom support
What You’ll Do:
- Provide classroom and individual support for students within a Resource Specialized Program
- Collaborate closely with teachers to carry out lesson plans and adapt activities as needed
- Assist with both group instruction and individualized pull-out sessions
- Foster a safe, nurturing environment where students feel empowered to learn
- Support students with their academic and, at times, behavioral needs as directed by classroom teachers
- Help maintain an organized, engaging classroom atmosphere
