About the Position

Soliant Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessionals to support students within a school district located outside the Sacramento, CA area. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally in a special education setting.

Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available based on district needs.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following California requirements:

Previous experience working with children, students with disabilities, or in an educational setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you will:

Provide direct support to students receiving special education services
Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and lesson implementation
Support students with academic tasks in individual, small-group, and classroom settings
Reinforce lesson concepts and educational goals established by the teacher
Assist students with social, emotional, and behavioral development
Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by school staff
Monitor and document student progress and behavior when required
Support students during transitions throughout the school day
Assist with classroom organization and preparation of instructional materials
Provide supervision during lunch, recess, field trips, and other school activities
Support students with personal care needs when outlined in their educational plans
Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to support student success
