Make a significant impact in the educational community by supporting students with diverse learning needs as a Paraprofessional. This contract opportunity, located near Saint Paul, MN, begins as soon as possible and extends through June 4, 2026. Working 35 hours per week in on-site roles, you’ll be part of the “focus program,” where your commitment genuinely matters. Multiple positions are available, offering you the chance to join a collaborative, student-focused environment.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of college credits from an accredited institution
    OR an associate degree or higher
    OR a passing score on an approved academic assessment (such as the ParaPro, ParaPathways, or The Master Teacher)
    OR meet competencies on the MDE approved grid
  • PCA certificate (or willingness to obtain—free and under an hour)
  • Documentation of qualifications must be provided for interview consideration
  • Willingness to attend a mandatory Wednesday orientation at 1:30pm if hired

Responsibilities:

  • Provide classroom and small-group support to students as directed by lead teachers and special education staff
  • Assist with implementing individualized education plans and behavior intervention strategies
  • Help foster an inclusive and encouraging environment for all learners
  • Support student participation in educational and social activities
  • Adapt to diverse needs in a dynamic school setting, collaborating with a caring educational team
