Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with teachers and staff
• Patience, adaptability, and a sincere passion for helping students succeed
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or child development preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare instructional materials, worksheets, and engaging classroom displays to support lesson plans
• Assist with clerical tasks such as taking attendance, grading assignments, and maintaining accurate student records
• Provide hands-on academic support by helping students with reading, writing, and math tasks
• Supervise students during class, in hallways, at lunch, during recess, and on field trips to ensure safety and positive behavior
• Foster a productive learning environment by minimizing distractions and keeping students focused on tasks
