Instructional Aide - San Anselmo, CA

Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate’s degree required
• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional or behavioral aide in a school setting
• Background and training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strongly preferred
• Skilled at implementing behavioral strategies and following individualized educational plans
• Compassionate, patient, and able to build rapport with students of diverse backgrounds
• Collaborative mindset; able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students with behavioral needs, individually or in small groups
• Assist with the implementation of behavior intervention plans under the guidance of special education staff and behavioral specialists
• Document student progress and communicate observations to teachers and team members
• Assist with classroom activities, adapting materials as needed for student accommodation
• Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
