Key Qualifications and Desired Background:

• One of the following mandatory requirements: Associate’s degree or higher OR minimum of 48 completed college semester hours (recognized by the Texas Education Agency or regional agency) plus fulfillment of a paraeducator course (via Stedi.org, minimum passing score 70%) OR direct experience working in pediatric or educational settings with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proficiency in ASL and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment
• Fingerprinting and background check completion (time-sensitive credentialing)
• Adaptability for collaborative work in dynamic educational settings
