Desired Qualifications:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional, particularly within school settings
• Previous direct support experience with moderate to severe needs students is highly valued
• Male candidates strongly preferred to best support the current student’s needs
• Bilingual in Spanish, enabling effective communication and support
• Ability to work reliably onsite; remote or virtual work is not available for this assignment
• Flexibility and patience to adapt to any changes in schedule or student requirements
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated, compassionate 1:1 support to a high school student, ensuring academic and personal needs are met
• Assist with classroom activities, transitions, and behavior management under teacher and specialist guidance
• Communicate regularly with staff and student’s family to best support educational goals
• Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior strategies as directed
• Participate in professional development and collaborate with school personnel
