Multiple contract paraprofessional roles are open for the 2025-2026 school year in the San Mateo/San Francisco Bay Area, specifically near communities such as Millbrae, Hillsborough, Colma, Daly City, San Bruno, and San Mateo. These positions offer a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm, totaling 30 hours weekly. Enjoy a structured workday with a paid break and a dedicated lunch period.

Candidates must hold at least an AA degree, have a valid driver’s license, and possess reliable transportation to commute to and from the school site. A current residence within the designated Bay Area is essential. Preference will be given to those with at least two years of recent school-based experience, strong data collection skills, behavioral background, and Safety Care training.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality support at one designated school site
  • Accurately collect and record student data per instructions from Behavior Supervisors or SPED teachers
  • Demonstrate flexibility, composure, and professionalism when interacting with students and colleagues
  • Display excellent reliability and punctuality
  • Assist specialists with readiness and pre-academic activities, and help facilitate positive social interactions during recess and group times
