Qualifications and Experience:

  • S10/S10A qualification REQUIRED; please also list any additional S-qualifications (e.g., S10E, S10F, S10Q, S10W, S20D, S20V, S22)
  • Meet at least one educational requirement: Associate’s degree or higher OR 48 college units and a high school diploma OR CBEST passage and a high school diploma OR a passed instructional aide exam and a high school diploma
  • Some S-qualifications require specialized training or experience (e.g., first aid/CPR, sign language, Braille, health care procedures—see criteria above)
  • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support students with all aspects of care, including health-related tasks

Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional and behavioral support in classrooms and resource settings
  • Assist students with physical or health care tasks as needed (e.g., feeding, toileting, specialized health procedures)
