Instructional Assistant - San Francisco, California

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or in comparable roles preferred
• Willingness to support general education classrooms with a range of student ages
• Ability to assist young children with personal care (including toileting/diapering)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Completion of mandatory para training (to be provided)
• Reliable transportation to school sites; please consider proximity and access, as some commutes may involve toll roads

Key Responsibilities:

• Support instructional activities as directed by classroom teachers
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
• Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance to students as needed
