Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Experience as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or in comparable roles preferred
- Willingness to support general education classrooms with a range of student ages
- Ability to assist young children with personal care (including toileting/diapering)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Completion of mandatory para training (to be provided)
- Reliable transportation to school sites; please consider proximity and access, as some commutes may involve toll roads
Key Responsibilities:
- Support instructional activities as directed by classroom teachers
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere
- Provide one-on-one or small-group assistance to students as needed
- Supervise students in classroom and common areas, supporting positive behavior and engagement
