Key Qualifications:
- Completion of an associate degree is required
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or behavioral aide
- Strong behavioral intervention background; ABA experience is highly preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Prepared to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing student-specific behavior plans throughout the school day
- Support classroom management and facilitate positive behavior among students
- Track, document, and report student progress and behavioral data accurately
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and other support staff
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development
- Provide one-on-one and small group assistance as needed to help students achieve academic and behavioral goals
