Instructional Aide - San Francisco, CA

As an After-School Instructor supporting general education students, you’ll play a key role in delivering engaging curriculum, nurturing growth, and fostering a dynamic, fun learning environment for students near San Francisco, CA. Schedule options run from either 1:30-6:30 or 2:30-6:30, perfect for those who want a consistent afternoon commitment while impacting young learners.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum age of 18, with a high school diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in childcare or group student supervision
• Proven ability to manage a classroom and cultivate meaningful student relationships
• Completion or willingness to complete the Instructional Assistant Exam (requirement waived with relevant Bachelor’s degree, AA degree, or 48 college-level units)
• Able to provide three positive work or character references
• Willingness to complete required Livescan and TB testing
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds for transporting materials

Desired Skills & Experiences:

• Science background (biology, chemistry, physics) or basic science lab skills
• Exposure to engineering content
• Creative performance abilities—think skits, costumes, or storytelling
• Progress toward a teaching credential is a huge plus
