Paraprofessional (Summer Program) – San Francisco, CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Program Dates: June 15, 2026 – July 17, 2026

We are seeking dedicated, flexible, and compassionate Paraprofessionals to support students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. Paraprofessionals are assigned to a school site, and campus administration will place staff where support is most needed. Candidates must be team-oriented, adaptable, and willing to assist in all areas of student support.

Important Position Expectations

All paraprofessionals must be comfortable supporting a variety of student needs, including but not limited to:

• Toileting and diapering assistance
• Feeding support
• G-tube feeding assistance
• Classroom and behavioral support
• Mobility and daily living assistance

Staff members are expected to assist wherever assigned and may not select or refuse specific duties or placements. Candidates who are unwilling to perform assigned responsibilities may be dismissed from the assignment. While principals may consider employee preferences when possible, placement requests cannot be guaranteed.

We are looking for reliable team players who are positive, professional, and student-focused. Strong performers may have opportunities to be considered for future NSY (New School Year) assignments.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children or students with special needs preferred
• Ability to follow campus and classroom direction
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable attendance and professionalism required
• Ability to support students with personal care needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $35.52. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
