Soliant is seeking a compassionate and dependable Behavior Aide to provide one-on-one behavioral and educational support to moderate-severe students in a school setting. The ideal candidate is flexible, patient, observant, and comfortable working with students who have intense behavioral or developmental needs. The hourly rate for this position ranges based on experience from $17-20/hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior support plans and classroom strategies.
  • Provide one-on-one and small-group student support.
  • Reinforce positive behaviors and teach appropriate replacement skills.
  • Assist with transitions, classroom activities, and daily routines.
  • Collect and document behavioral data and communicate observations to the supervising team.
  • Support students with emotional regulation and de-escalation when needed.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with severe or aggressive behavior caseloads
  • Experience with children, special education, or behavioral support in schools is preferred.
  • Training in restraint, de-escalation, or crisis intervention.
  • Strong communication, patience, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and behavior specialists.
  • Must pass required background checks and meet applicable school-site requirements.
