Qualifications & Experience:

• Associate’s degree required
• Hands-on experience as a paraprofessional or behavioral aide in an educational setting
• Background in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
• Patience and adaptability when responding to various student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to support behavior and learning goals
• Implement behavioral intervention plans under the guidance of special education staff
• Model appropriate social interaction and reinforce positive behavior
• Assist with academic tasks and classroom activities as directed by the lead teacher
• Document student progress and communicate observations with the educational team
