Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Associate’s degree required
  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional or behavioral aide essential
  • ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) experience preferred

  • Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with students and staff
  • Adaptability and a patient, encouraging demeanor

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in tandem with teachers and specialists to implement individualized education and behavior intervention plans
  • Provide academic and behavioral support for students in group and one-on-one settings
  • Employ evidence-based strategies, including ABA techniques, to help students achieve their goals
  • Assist in data collection, observation, and progress tracking
  • Support students with social integration, communication skills, and independence
  • Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress to the teaching team
