An immediate opportunity is available for Special Education Paraprofessionals to support students in a dynamic school environment located in Santa Clara, CA. This contract position focuses on assisting educators in delivering tailored educational experiences to students with special needs, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, helping with academic and social development.
  • Monitor and document student progress and behaviors, communicating effectively with educators and staff.
  • Support classroom management and create a positive, engaging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with special education teams to adapt instructional materials and strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Prior experience as a paraprofessional, preferably within special education settings.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and support staff.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to student growth and success.
  • Basic knowledge of special education strategies and IDEA guidelines.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain confidentiality.
