• Experience working as a paraprofessional, instructional aide, or in a similar support position within a school
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, students, and parents
• Patience, flexibility, and adaptability within a fast-paced and evolving educational environment
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging classroom culture for all students
• Ability to assist with lesson delivery, behavior management, and small group instruction as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent required; any relevant certifications or additional training is a plus

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting classroom teachers with lesson preparation, instructional activities, and classroom management
• Providing one-on-one or small group assistance to students who require additional academic or behavioral support
• Encouraging student engagement and promoting a positive and productive learning atmosphere
• Assisting students with special needs or Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in both academic and social settings
• Monitoring student progress and communicating observations to lead teachers
• Helping ensure a safe and respectful environment throughout the school day
