Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional or Certified Nursing Assistant
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Compassion, patience, and dedication to working with students of diverse backgrounds
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality
• Previous experience with 1:1 care, especially in school or pediatric settings, is valued

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide attentive 1:1 or 2:1 support to students while riding the school bus
• Ensure safety and comfort for students during transit, assisting with boarding, seating, and unloading
• Effectively communicate with bus drivers and school staff regarding student needs
• Respond calmly and efficiently in the event of emergencies or behavioral challenges
• Maintain accurate records of student care and incidents, as necessary
