Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree
- Previous experience in a school setting or with applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude
- Ability to adapt to different classroom needs throughout the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer classroom support to teachers and help students access learning activities
- Assist with individualized instruction, adapting to students’ unique needs
- Help implement behavioral and academic plans as directed by teaching staff or specialists
- Foster a supportive, respectful, and safe learning environment for all students
- Track student progress and share observations with teachers and professionals as needed
- Use your experience to provide specialized support based on assignment
