Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students for the 2026–2027 school year! As a full-time Paraprofessional, you’ll collaborate with passionate teachers and special education staff to foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. This contract role (35 hours per week) begins as soon as possible and continues through June 16, 2027. You’ll play a vital part in helping students meet their academic and social goals each day.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, individualized, and small-group support to students during classroom activities and assignments
  • Aid students with special education needs and implement individualized learning plans
  • Maintain a welcoming and orderly classroom, contributing to student safety and inclusion
  • Follow instructional guidance from teachers and collaborate with school staff to enhance student success
  • Supervise students with compassion and consistency, ensuring daily routines run smoothly
  • Communicate constructively with colleagues, students, and families to support positive outcomes
  • Foster independence, self-confidence, and social growth among all students

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State paraprofessional credential/license, or Associate’s Degree required
  • Past experience working with children, especially those with special needs, preferred
  • Dependable attendance and a deep commitment to students’ well-being
  • Ability to partner with others and serve as a proactive, enthusiastic team member
